isfj Introduction

ISFJs are loyal, supportive, reliable individuals who are committed to the people they consider important. They will go out of their way to ensure the well-being of those around them, often ahead of their own needs. They have strong organizational ability and prefer working with established policies and procedures. They are meticulous and are good at working with set schedules and deadlines.

"This is what worked before.”

ISFJs have a profound respect for the factual information and personal experiences. They can remember incidents that have happened in their life with amazing accuracy and painstaking detail. Sometimes their detailed descriptions of past events are construed as long-windedness.

Their memory does not just include facts, but also emotions. When recollecting old incidents, ISFJs also remember the emotions they have felt, whether sad or happy, alongside the details of those incidents. Because of this strong emotional memory; ISFJs may find it hard to move on from old relationships.

When considering new information, ISFJs appear to be slow and methodical. This is because they are checking what they are learning with what they already know to find coherence, consistency, and accuracy. Because of this approach, ISFJs are detailed and meticulous, seldom making careless errors in their tasks. However, it also means that they may be inflexible and rigid at times.

"Is there anything I can help with?”

ISFJs greatly value their relationships. As friends, they are super loyal, committed and faithful. Coupled with their detailed nature, ISFJs often make amazingly caring and thoughtful friends. Long before a need is articulated, ISFJs actively forward to meet them. However, they do silently hope for similar treatment from those around them and are disappointed if those expectations are not met.

"Let's settle it, shall we?"

Structured and organised with their lives, ISFJs are likely to keep a schedule and stick to them. Although uncomfortable with changes, they will still make adjustments if it means meeting the needs of those around them.

They may budget their finances wisely as well, seeing it as a responsible and dutiful thing to do.

"What if the worst happens?”

Their Intuition is the weakest of their mental functions. This means that under stress, their intuition may come out in an undeveloped or a childish manner.

They may think about the worst case scenarios or could worry a lot when under stress.
